Educators addressing issues of peace, social justice and environmental stewardship with their students have a new tool at their disposal. Circle of Life is pleased to offer A Multidisciplinary Approach to Teaching The Legacy of Luna, available to all teachers and educators free of charge.

Over the past several years, countless educators have used The Legacy of Luna to help students develop a personal connection to activism, the environment and their own paths of learning. Created with the guidance of seasoned teachers, A Multidisciplinary Approach to The Legacy of Luna teaches to various learning styles and uses cooperative learning principles to advance teamwork and shared learning among students. These materials also include age-appropriate lessons that use creative expression to teach math, language arts, science, and social studies.

Also included in these materials are:

  • Hands-on activities broken down by grade level: K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12
  • Resources on environmental education, non-toxic art supplies, and forest protection

We prefer to send the materials to you via email, in Acrobat/pdf format which you can then print (111 pages). The curriculum comes to you in the form of a single pdf file totalling 736 KB; if you are on a modem, be prepared to allow several minutes to receive it because of its size.

If you must have the paper copy mailed to you, this incurs considerable processing costs for us. Therefore, we ask that you first donate $10, and then, in the form below, write "paper copy via mail, please" in the notes field.
